Chef Randy Siles Leandro makes history in Costa Rica by becoming the first chef in the Americas to be named President of the prestigious International-Club Les Toques Blanches.
The ceremony was held on May 20th at El Mangroove, Autograph Collection during the 𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮-𝗟𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 dinner by Enjoy Group which featured the participation of world-renowned chefs Jean Francois Philippe, Sebastian Gaillard and Nadine Quinonez of Restaurant La Truffe, and Randy Siles Leandro.
In his new role, Randy will be promoting culinary education and apprenticeship, and encouraging Costa Rican youth to discover the desire and motivation to work as a professional chef. Through fundraising events and scholarships, the organization will be able to foster a student exchange program between Costa Rica and France to further promote cultural identity through gastronomy.
