On June 13, 2019, Chef Randy Siles Leandro was inducted into the Disciples d’Escoffier International. The ceremony was held at the L’Hôtellerie Kouros in the city of Cuers located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in France. During the induction ceremony, Chef Siles was presented with the professional chef red sash, a certificate and was officially inducted by Monsieur Raymond Macario, President of Disciples d’Escoffier International.
Chef Siles says, “I am honored to be inducted into the Disciples of Escoffier International and be part of this prestigious group committed to continue promoting and preserving Escoffier’s work and maintaining the great culinary traditions, and to promoting culinary education and apprenticeship encouraging young people to discover the desire and motivation to work as a professional chef.”
The event was also the stage for the launch of the 2019 edition of the French gastronomic travel guide, Petit Futé with chief editor Laurent Boschero.
